Each day the workshop starts at 8:45am
Each day the workshop finishes at 5:00pm (approximately)
Specific workshop activities will be detailed on a timetable supplied on the first day.

Using the intercom system located at the front gate, identify yourself and state you are attending the ASI workshop. Proceed to the first floor to obtain a pass and get directions to the Training Room

The facilitators will be:
Access to the venue is available between 8.00am and 5.30pm only.
On the first day, please obtain details from the reception regarding the specific location of the workshop within the building.
Security at the venue cannot be guaranteed. Please do not leave personal or valuable items unattended.

Practical Investigation Exercise
The workshop topics are presented in a logical sequence related to the progression of a typical aviation occurrence investigation. Participants will be given the opportunity to practice their learning by conducting the progressive steps in an investigation exercise which runs throughout the entire course. Participants learn through a mix of instructions, interactive sessions and practical exercises.
We would like you to review your organisations method of risk analysis and evaluation. During the course we will draw on this knowledge to examine aspects of investigations and developing safety improvements.
Laptop computer (if available, not essential), and an open mind. Stationary and course notes will be supplied.
Tea and coffee are available at the facility. Lunchtime meal is not supplied. There are several café’s in the local area open for lunch
Any illness or injury that may affect your ability to participate in the workshope should be reported to us as soon as possible. During training, the workshope facilitators should be advised immediately. Contact telephone numbers for the facilitators will be provided at the beginning of the workshop.
In consideration of all Workplace Health and Safety requirements, all participants must comply with all lawful direction given by the facilitators.
Active participation is encouraged in all aspects of the training to ensure participants receive the full benefit and maximum value of the workshope. Please be mindful and respectful of your fellow participants.
